Fundraising in memory of Viola Grace Guy
My Story
Our beautiful daughter Viola was born on July 15th 2025. Despite a perfect pregnancy, a complication during birth meant she was born without a heartbeat. Medical teams revived her after 20 minutes but sadly during this period she experienced a significant lack of oxygen which caused irreversible damage to her brain and other vital organs. As a result of this she was very poorly and required a range of specialist support in the Princess Anne NICU. Viola fought hard for a week before passing away on July 22nd, at just 7 days old.
Viola Grace will always be our precious, first born daughter. We love her deeply.
Though her life was tragically short, she brought us so much joy, and the team who cared for her at the Princess Anne NICU were beyond outstanding. Through their expertise and kindness we were able to enjoy seven days with her and make memories which we will treasure for the rest of our lives.
As we prepare for her funeral, in lieu of gifts or flowers, we would like to raise money in her memory to give back to this amazing facility.
