My Story

Experiencing a premature birth is very traumatic. Parents (and Grandparents) can only watch on and hope, feeling totally helpless and traumatised, as their ICKLE baby struggles in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

I am supporting ICKLE PICKLES charity as my very good friend and cycling 'buddy' Jan, is  grandparent to a premature baby.

Because of specialist, highly trained and dedicated NICU staff, all ended well. Finley is doing fine and enjoying life after a very difficult start.
