My Story

Mama Bamboo has been a supporter of Ickle Pickles since 2023, we teamed up with this fantastic charity to donate our new Size 0 sustainable bamboo nappies to 6 UK neonatal units.

There are over 90,000 babies born sick or prematurely in the UK every year. One in seven babies will be admitted to a neonatal ward. We understand how stressful the experience of a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) can be. Size 0 nappies are not readily available and those that are tend not be the plant-based, chemical-free versions. We hope by gifting a full pack of Mama Bamboo size 0s, families will have enough for 3 days.

Mama Bamboo also offers the chance for our customers to donate to the programme through our Give Another Mother scheme where we match 100% of the funds donated and with it send nappies and wipes to the Ickle Pickles Children's Charity.
